Making up the rules for playing games we've never played before
Writing on my calendar the dates when we will meet
Crossing each of them out as they one by one are obsolete.

Adam’s apple made a sound
It could not have been too loud

No one else seemed to be freaked out
Adam ate his sandwich

He squeezed his little juice box
But he still wasn’t through
He stared at his apple
It stared back at him
Adam had to get to
The core of the problem
Adam looked at Stacy
The girl he kind of liked
She was eating an apple
He knew he had to bite
Adam took his apple
Bit into its skin
It tasted kind of funny
He chewed while Stacy grinned
He swallowed the apple
It went down the pipe
His stomach made a rumble
A noise came from inside
And that's when
Adam's stomach made a sound
It could not have been too loud
When little Adam looked around
Everyone seemed to be freaked out!
